KURSSEL was founded in Paris by Nieves, a woman who at 5’2”, could not find a coat with the right fit, made from high-quality materials, and designed specifically for her figure.

Respect for the environment is of crucial importance to Nieves, as she is originally from the Amazon.

She grew up studying drawing in a museum and continues to nurture her passion for art. In Paris, she not only cultivates her artistic passion but has also developed a commitment to workers’ rights. Through the values of KURSSEL, she celebrates her Franco-Amazonian identity.
